If you need to return an electronic item to Schumacher for repair you must follow the below instructions; Please download and fill in the following document. Schumacher Repairs Form (pdf) Return the document to us with the faulty product including sales receipt and / or warranty card. Without the relevant warranty documentation we will be unable to provide warranty work, without exception. Please ensure when you return the item to us that it is actually faulty, we receive a high percentage of items back that actually function correctly. A handling charge of £15 will be levied if we find the item to function correctly. Always give as much detail as possible about the fault with the item, this way we can turn your repair around faster. Please also include a covering letter with your Name, address and contact details. All items are repaired in the order which they are received, we endeavour to turn around the repair as quickly as possible but please allow 7-10 days before you contact us about the repair. Any non warranty items left with us for more than 60 days will be disposed of. Our returns address is… Repairs Department Service FAQ’s - NOSRAM Q. My Nosram Electronic Speed Control (ESC) is faulty, will it be repaired or replaced. A. Nosram do not offer a repair service, if your ESC is faulty and covered by the guarantee, you will get a new ESC in replacement subject to inspection of the item in question. Q. My Nosram ESC does not include a warranty card. A. Not all Nosram ESC’s are covered by the lifetime guarantee, and these particular models will not include a warranty card. E.G the Pearl ESC range are not included in the lifetime guarantee scheme. Q. My Nosram motor does not include a warranty card. A. Nosram motors do not have a lifetime guarantee, the warranty period is stated in the instruction manual and for Nosram motors it is generally 90 days. Q. What happens if my faulty item is not covered by the warranty. A. We offer a trade in scheme, whereby we offer the same or equivalent product at a discounted rate and keep your faulty item. Service FAQ’s - SPEED PASSION Q. My Speed Passion ESC is faulty, will it be repaired or replaced. A. Speed Passion do not offer a repair service, if your ESC is faulty and covered by the guarantee, you will get a new ESC in replacement subject to inspection of the item in question. Q. My Speed Passion ESC is faulty, but I no longer have the warranty card or receipt. A. Speed Passion do not offer any warranty in cases where the warranty card or receipt is not present, to claim warranty on a Speed Passion ESC, you will need to provide the warranty card and a receipt showing the item is within the guarantee period. (Generally 90 days) Q. My Speed Passion motor does not include a warranty card. A. Speed Passion motors do not include a warranty card, they generally have a 30 day warranty which can be claimed with proof of purchase. Q. What happens if my faulty item is not covered by the warranty. A. We offer an exchange scheme, whereby we offer the same or equivalent product at a discounted rate and keep your faulty item. Service FAQ’s - GM Q. My GM ESC is faulty, will it be repaired or replaced. A. GM may repair or replace you ESC, if your ESC is faulty and covered by the guarantee, you may get a new ESC in replacement or it may be repaired, subject to inspection of the item in question. Q. My GM product does not include a warranty card. A. GM products do not use a warranty card system, only proof of purchase by receipt. Q. My GM ESC does not function correctly or is intermittent. A. Most returned GM ESC's do function correctly. Always do a factory reset on the unit before it is returned to check some settings are not causing the problem. Q.
