This past weekend was the third round of the Worksop Series, there was a huge entry of 148 drivers across the 3 classes of 2wd, 4wd and a vintage buggy class.
As always it was Round by round qualifying as the racing format, with the best 2 results from 4 rounds of qualifying counting towards the final position.
The track was looking great with some fast and tight sections. Qualifying in 2wd was dominated by Schumacher's Mitch Fiddling having taken TQ in 3 out of 4 of the rounds. In 4wd things were a lot closer and going into the last round of qualifying, any one of 5 drivers could have taken pole position, but it was James Helliwell who would TQ the last round to line up on pole. In the Vintage class it was Simon Kemp who dominated proceedings taking TQ in all 4 qualifying rounds and would line up on pole.
The A Final 2wd result was:
1 Craig Collinson Team C 2 Mitchell Fiddling Schumacher 3 Eugene Galley Schumacher 4 William Skidmore VBC 5 James Chappel Team C 6 James Helliwell Xray 7 William Callan AE 8 Jim Furniss Schumacher 9 David Hall Schumacher 10 Jack Neal Schumacher 11 Jonathan Skidmore Yokomo
