Freezing temperatures met the 55 drivers that attended round 3 of the Louth Radio control car car club supported by Schumacher racing.
A fast and flowing track was provided for the on and off road drivers. With five classes on show, there was plenty of racing to get through.
The most popular class was the 13.5 blinky class. Providing enough speed, but close racing. Schumacher own James Hart would take home tq, and two tone to tone victories. Chris lovely would finish him home in 2nd, and Schumacher Alex Brocklebank in 3rd.
The second of the two touring classes is the club class. Based on the clubs 17.5 open rules, it allowed the club guys to enjoy close racing.
Danny Cohen would take home the victory, with pole sitter Oliver Toothill taking home 2nd. Mick Lammiman would bring home 3rd from 7th on the grid.
GT12 saw a bump up in numbers for this round.
The return of Matthew Cook would see him take pole, and two tone to tone victories in front of Craig Illingworth and Dave Fiddling rounding out the podium.
Louth offers both on and off road, so the second half of the meeting allows three guys to get some air time.
In 2wd fresh from his tq at Worksop, the clubs and Schumacher own Mitch Fiddling would take home victory. Starting from pole, taking both final wins with his Schumacher KC, Andrew Twigger and Jason lovely would finish in 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Onto 4wd and Schumacher's James Beckett would take the number one spot. Starting from pole was able to take home both final wins. Richard Howells and Oliver Toothill would round out the podium positions.
With the series warming up, next round returns in the new year on January 21st.
