Click to download tyre temperature usage guide. In general the low number tyres such as 20R and 24R are used for low grip and low temperature conditions, the higher number such as 36R and 40R for high grip, high temperature.
Inserts are available in firm and medium and in 3 different thicknesses. Type 'A' is the thickest and has the least air gap and heats the tyre up quicker. Type C is the thinnest with the most air gap, B is in the middle. The JB type pre-glued's come with a moulded foam inserts, these are especially developed for carpet racing.
All the Schumacher/Sorex Pre-glued tyres are mounted on either the Std or Stiff Revlight wheel. The std wheel is lightweight and gives the most traction, the Stiff wheel is good for high grip/high temperature conditions.
