Once again the Schumacher Off Road Team were in attendance at the Schumacher supported Indoor Off Road Masters at Worksop.
In 4WD the guys were gaining valuable running with the new CAT SX3 and once again showed how good the car has been over the last few races. Danny Mcgee took an excellent 2nd and Simon Moss 3rd in qualifying with their SX3’s lining up behind the Associated of Paul Bradbury.
In the final Paul managed to hold of the charging Schumacher pair to take the win with Simon getting ahead of Danny to get 2nd with Danny 3rd. The drivers were extremely happy with the cars, being very easy to drive with good pace.
The same 3 drivers were at the top of the tree in the 2WD class but this time Danny managed to grab the TQ with his Cougar SV ahead of Paul and Simon. The SV’s of Eugene Galley, Matthew Latham and David Poulter were also going well and made the A main.
In the main a consistent and controlled run by Danny at the front of the pack led to a good win with Paul and Craig Collinson nipping in front of Simon to take 2nd and 3rd.
Danny has been on fire in 2WD during the winter and is hoping to take that form into the outdoor season.
All in all a good display from the team and another great meeting ran by the Worksop crew with 151 entries in all.
