12 year Victor Christensen rounded up his winning streak in the Danish indoor TC series at the final event held in Skive 24/25 March.
With a 3 heat win in the Stock class (17.5T, blinking), Victor finalized a total of 4 wins out of the 5 rounds and could also claim the title as overall winner of the Stock Class with maximum score.
The first 3 rounds competition was close and Victor was racing his Mi4CX and was battling some skilled (and sometimes older) drivers. For the last two rounds Victor had received the new Mi4CXL which improved his lap times considerably and resulted in something close to shear dominance. In round 4 his new Mi4CXL was assembled the night before the race and despite the lack of testing, things was going so well for Victor that he actually lapped all other competitors through the mains. For the final round 5 things started out as a different story since the track had very low traction. A lot of set up changes did apparently only make things worse and as things progressed and the track developed more grip, the set up ended at the starting point with a softer spring set up as the only change of the day!!. Victor TQed being the only driver doing 20 laps and the mains were sort of a formality. A great day for Victor and his Mi4CXL.
The new Schumacher car and the ease of setting it up is a huge part of Victors wins and practically being the only Schumacher driver in the tournament, no technical support and experience has been available. Victor has relied on own skills, some help from Ulrich Rasmussen and the Set Up sheets available on the Schumacher site. The car is equipped with Speed Passion ESC and motor and CS-Electronic LiPo.
Victor will next TC series (beginning Oct. 2012) participate in the Super Stock Class (17.5 turbo) but will for the upcoming 7 round outdoor Off Road Series race his Schumacher SX3.
Congratulations from all at Schumacher!
