Schumacher Chris Grainger has convincingly won his first competitive outing this last weekend at the BRCA Clubman’s Nationals at West London. Unable to compete in the Schumacher BTCC event the week previous due to being in Florida for the Worlds warm up Chris put in valuable track time before the main Modified national in 2 weeks time at the same venue.
With 140 entries the Clubman’s Nationals had a strong start to the year with the two classes 13.5T boosted and 17.5T blinky with the controlled Sorex 32RY tyre set supplied by Schumacher. Chris TQ'ed every round of qualifying and won both legs of the final convincingly, Schumacher driver Chris Gunter also had a strong set of finals moving up from 10th on the grid to make 3rd on the podium, an awesome performance.
In the 17.5 class Malc Hall took the win from Darren Tickner and Nicky Yarranton in third.
Congratulations to all on a great meeting.
