The BRCA 2014 Hotrod Championship title went down to the last round at Wycombe and was between the SupaStox of Sean Taylor and Mardave’s Simon Hadley.
Both drivers had a maximum score after qualifying so the title would be decided in the last final of the year.
With his first DNF of the year for Simon, Shaun went on to finish the final in 2nd place which was then promoted to 1st place after last year’s champion Mark Goodchild’s car was found to be underweight. The end result was Shaun declared 2014 BRCA Hotrod champion by 1 point from Simon after dropped scores were taken into account.
This was Shaun’s first BRCA title since winning the 2010 BRCA Ministox championship and the first non-Mardave wining car since the inception of the Hotrod class in the late 90’s.
Shaun’s Schumacher Supastox was powered by a Thunder power 13.5t motor and Hobbywing V2.1 1S ESC.
Congratulations from all at Schumacher!
