At round 1 of the Scottish Carpet Championships the Scottish Schumacher team took the top 3 spots in the A Final. John Lindsay and Kenny Clark were the only 2 drivers on the day to achieve 28 laps and took A1 and A2 respectively with Alan Lindsay taking the 3rd spot. In leg 1 Kenny took the win ahead of John with Alan putting in a steady run to finish in 3rd John led leg 2 from start to finish with Kenny having to settle for 2nd. Unfortunately Alan had some problems and had to retire. With a win a piece, John took the overall victory with his Nosram 13.5t powered MI4. This year there was no control tire and all 3 opted to use the excellent Nosram CPX tire which delivered consistent grip all day. |
