Round 2 of the BRCA Nationals saw us at sunny but blustery Cotswolds circuit in Gloucestershire.
The Schumacher Race team in both On Road and Off Road have been performing well of late and this race was no exception!! In the modified class Chris Grainger was back on form with his Mi4LP, but this time could not hold off the charging Elliot Harper with his rapid Speed Passion powered car. Chris qualified second ahead of the Schumacher Mi4LP of Colin Price who had another strong weekend also now driving Speed Passion products.
Chris converted his 2nd place qualifying position into second overall in the finals with Colin Price bringing home 4th and John Pape also making the main.
In the Pro Stock Class the Schumacher Mi4LP dominated proceedings ahead of the 100 entrant strong class. James Hart was in a class of his own taking TQ ahead of a uber fast Lee Price showing their recent success at the BTCC was no fluke!! A total of 6 Mi4LP’s were in the A main, with Andy Robson, Darren Lee, Sam Clifton and David Hall also making it in.
James took flag to flag victories in the first two legs claiming the overall win with Lee second and Andy Robson just missing out on total lockout of the podium making 4th overall.
Congratulations to all the team on an excellent weekend.
The next big race for the mod guys will be the World Championships in Germany at the end of the month.
